Kurdistan: Half a Century of Other People’s Wars and a Equality Social Project
Kurdistan: Half a Century of Other People’s Wars and a Equality Social Project
A chronicle from the invisible borders of Kurdistan, where a stateless people has defied genocides, dictatorships, wars, and forced displacement in order to rebuild their communities. From everyday life to the battlefront, women — protagonists of an unprecedented social revolution — are transforming masculinity and sustaining, in the midst of conflict, one of the most pioneering and effective models of equality of the 21st century.
Women As Battlefield. Sexual Abuse in Narco-trafficking War
In Colombia, as in many contemporary conflicts, war is not waged solely over territory; it is also inscribed upon the bodies of women. Pain and humiliation have been systematically deployed as instruments of domination and as tactics to fracture communities and instill fear. In this context, trauma is not merely an unintended consequence of violence but a deliberate strategy, with women’s bodies becoming the terrain upon which power is exercised. Yet women resist this erasure: they reclaim their place, their voice, and their memory.
